1. No Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal information, screen time statistics, or application selection details. All data related to the App remains strictly local on your device.

2. Screen Time API (FamilyControls)

The App uses Apple's native Screen Time API (specifically the FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks) to monitor your scroll duration and shield specified apps.

  • Local Processing: Apple's Screen Time system handles all app tracking and shielding locally on your iPhone.
  • Zero Access: Due to Apple's privacy-first design, MomWasRight cannot see which specific applications or websites you select to block, nor do we have access to your personal app usage history.

3. Local Storage and Data Deletion

Your goals, configurations, streak counts, and earned allowances are stored on your device using Apple's secure keychain, App Groups container (for communication with extension shields), and local UserDefaults. No backup or sync of this data is sent to external servers. Because all data is stored strictly locally, you can delete all of your data at any time simply by deleting the App from your device or by tapping "Reset Progress" in the App's settings.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or external analytics systems. We believe in providing an ad-free, secure environment to help you focus.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect any user contact info, we encourage you to review this page periodically for any modifications.
